MW3 Infinity Ward/Sledgehammer and not Respawn entertainment

Infinity Ward who have possibly made a couple of the best FPS’s ever have now lost their main member’s due to a falling out over un-payed bonuses and what seems like a major hissy fit over its key members in talks over leaving its core branch that is Activision. If I were Activision I would also be a bit unhappy if my main men were thinking of leaving, the ones who have been a major driving force to one of the biggest gaming franchise’s ever; but they have gone about it in the wrong fashion and could now be left right up the top of shit creek.

Now behind the Moder Warfare wheel we have the remaining staff of Infinity ward, and from what I have read isn’t many, and doesn’t include a single key member. To get the IP done on time Activision have drafted in a subsidiary studio, Sledgehammer. Sledgehammer Games was founded on November 17, 2009 by Glen Schofield and Michael Condrey, who left Electronic Arts studio Visceral Games (known for Dead Space). Im not a key figure in the industry and Im not in the know, other than what I read up on the web, but….To me this seems a lil bit risky. Leaving a Modern Warfare title in the hands of what seems a group of COD nubes… Of course my fingers are crossed and would love the new MW3 to be an absolute smasher, but I have my doubts.

The true ex-Infinity Ward COD superheroes Jason West and Vince Zampella’s new studio Respawn Entertainment is still at absolute zero. Word is so far they have nothing. No HQ, no furniture, No website and no releases, even EA dont know what their up to. I bet their thinking something good up though…to prove where they are here’s a screenshot of their website….
